What success looks like in this role:

  • Providing Operational Acceptance process awareness to Project Teams, Project Managers, Service Coordinators and any 3rd parties involved with IT Service Releases

  • Communicating operational requirements to the projects teams and acting as single point of contact

  • Ensuring required resource requirements are gathered, understood and timely communicated to the Operational Acceptance team

  • Liaising with Project teams to ensure that requirements are met to successfully maintain and operate new or updated IT services

  • Collaborating with Project teams and working though an operational acceptance checklist to assess criteria, collect evidence, record non-consistencies and suggest corrective actions

  • Assigning tasks to technical experts for carrying out necessary tests (e.g. system build procedures, compliance with technical standards, monitoring and alerting completeness, system restore, etc.)

  • Coordinating activities necessary to successfully complete pre-go-live checks and post-go-live review.

  • Completing assigned tasks by agreed deadlines and at high quality

  • Exposure or basic knowledge of Cloud Technologies an advantage

  • Exposure or basic knowledge of DevOps practices also an advantage

  • You will be successful in this role if you have:

  • Very good command of English with proven drafting ability

  • A working knowledge of MS Office (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Good organizational skills and self-motivated person with a basic IT understanding/knowledge to be able to support the Operational Acceptance process

  • Basic technical coordination skills with understanding IT Services and Data Center, IT Service Provider environments., Business Analysis

  • A minimum of 3+ yrs. of relevant experience

  • Very good technical documentation writing/review skills

  • Excellent communication and customer interfacing skills

  • Is a team player, tactful when dealing with colleagues and shows commitment to the achievement of team and organizational goals
