Job Description

The divisions Chassis Systems Control (CC) and Automotive Steering (AS) develop innovative components, systems and functions in the field of vehicle safety, vehicle dynamics and driver assistance. Through the combination of systems based on cameras, radar and ultrasonic sensors, electric power steering and active or passive safety systems we not only make driving safer and more comfortable today but we are also building the basis for the autonomous driving of tomorrow. 

Your contribution to something big:
► Shaping the future of the next generations automotive steering systems from low level software until functional development
►Customer experiment projects software development
►Contributing in the next stages of automotive driving in the development of steering system for highly / fully automated driving and steer-by-wire
►Adapting new mathematical models, deriving high level algorithms in embedded C or Simulink®
► SW requirements analysis, effort estimations, module design, implementation, control and functionality development, integration, testing and debugging
►Active participation and responsibility in each phase of projects from start to customer test drives (up to level 3 releases)

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

►Bsc/Msc in computer science, automation, electronics, telecommunications, informatics, mathematics or comparable

►C programming skills

►Experience with embedded software development

►Good problem solving skills and analytic mindset

►Initiative and can-do attitude

►Customer orientation

►Good English and/or German language knowledge
