This is your role

Nevis is expanding its education and technical writing team. As a learning and documentation specialist you help our customers achieve rapid and successful implementation of our various cloud and identity products by creating effective documentation and e-learning materials.

As part of the wider Customer Success Management team, you will develop a strong knowledge of the Nevis SaaS and on-prem products, and have the possibility of working with peers in various locations across Europe.

We expect a unique passion to work in the software development area. Career changers from related professions, such as business analysts or software testers, with a flair for writing documentation and instructions, are very welcome. In your daily work, you will
  • Work closely with the product development team in order to create easy-to-use technical documentation and training resources that are available with corresponding product releases.
  • Design, build, and maintain flexible and modular digital documentation and e-learning content for self-paced and interactive training that incorporates real system usage and relevant scenarios.
  • Create storyboards, scripts, learning- and assessment content.
  • Develop effective instructional aids, e.g., knowledge articles, sample content assets, diagrams, and screencasts to represent complex content, facts, processes and procedures.
  • Ensure readability, coherence, accuracy, and conformity to standards of style, design and quality of learning content with a learner-centered focus.
  • Evaluate customer feedback to improve documentation and training services.
  • Administrative tasks in the Learning Management System.
  • Step-in to support colleagues (developers, testing, support) if workload permits.

    For this position, you must have
  • A quick grasp and take pleasure in transforming raw content and information received from software engineers into documentation and e-learning content for technicians.
  • A university degree in computer science or a related field is a plus.
  • A proven track of conceptual and didactic skills, high implementation competence and experience in the conception and development of learning content or documentation in the software industry.
  • Superb English writing skills and a great sense for style.
  • Flexibility to improvise in a world that constantly changes.
