Credit Risk Manager

As a Credit Risk Manager, you will be responsible for understanding, monitoring, reporting and acting upon credit-risk related factors relevant to Yettel, mainly in the form of device-related instalment receivables, device-related subsidy investment, device-related deposits and downpayments telecommunication service invoices, with a view to maximizing company profitability or other strategic goals (taking calculated risk). 
 

You will have the following responsibilities: 

• Define and monitor credit risk KPIs at the suitable level of detail to understand developments in the business 

• Set up, regularly run and synthesize credit risk reports, allowing decision-makers to detect, understand the reasons for, and act upon, developments 

• Utilize segmentation analytics to search for risk concentrations and provide stress testing as necessary. 

• Forecasting and understanding of underlying trends including external macroeconomics and others. 

• Understand customer propositions and commercial processes 

• Actively cooperate with the Commercial division to shape customer propositions and processes (mainly related to devices), balancing risk and commercial opportunity 

• Prepare impact assessment/business cases on new initiatives or policy changes 

• Opine on, or prepare, proposals for policy/process changes 

• Look for new opportunities to improve credit risk with factors like new data and new technologies. 

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have / are: 

• Minimum bachelor's degree in financial, Economics, Statistics or relevant area. 

• Minimum 3+ years' experience in credit risk or financial analytics 

• At least basic SQL knowledge. 

• Analytical tools – minimum intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.  

• Experience with tools such as Power BI advantage. Other analytical tools like python or R are advantage. 

• Strong analytic and problem-solving mind. 

• Ability to interpret data and implications between them. 

• Excellent communication and explanation skills. 

• Business English.
