As Head of Information Security, you will be responsible for coordination of information security across the BU and as such be the subject matter expert in the field. Responsible for the IT Security Architecture, and to contribute to the long term information security strategy of the business, setting the standards for security, to make technical security architecture that supports business success and responsible for security operation as well. The role contains security strategy direction settings, risk management and to control the operation to be able to fulfill the strategic ambitions. You will be part of a security organization, reporting to the Business Security Officer, who is at the moment the Director of Business Security Department.

You will have the following responsibilities:

• Be the subject matter expert and coordinator within information security in the BU
• Identification of risks associated with information security and propose remediation
• Ensure the compliance with the local policies and Hungarian/EU regulations
• Develop proper security architecture and security governance in the BU
• Develop security strategy in the company and follow up its implementation
• Analysis and continuous improvement of the implemented IT security solution accordance with the information security standards (primarily ISO27001),
• Ensuring the development and operation of controls in accordance with information security risks, relevant legislation, internal policies and standards,
• Supporting and participation in security audits,
• Cooperate and coordinate closely with PPF Security Board
• Follow up regional activities within information security
• Contribute to all areas of security as a team member
• Collaborate across security domains in an international work environment

You are the ideal candidate for our team if you have / are:

• has college or university degree preferably in Economics or Business Studies or in IT engineering with an IT Security background
• has at least 5 years’ experience in strong background in IT (with a focus on IT security, business security, and cyber security)
• is customer- and market-oriented
• has excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills,
• is team-oriented,
• is an independent, goal-oriented, energetic and agile person with flexibility and initiative,
• has a winning mindset and challenger attitude
• can handle conflicts efficiently,
• can perform under pressure and stress,
• has fluent English skills (both oral and written fluency is expected)
