My client, a well-known international insurance company is looking for annew Junior Product Actuary. The office is located in the 13th district, close to Árpád-híd.
Product Actuary / Junior Product actuary
POSITION OBJECTIVE
Ensures sustainable portfolio growth and profitability through high quality management of product development and pricing.
REPORTS: Directly: Product Head CZ/SK/HU/BG/UA
                 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Product pricing

• Participates in the product development process from the technical/actuarial perspective.
• Supports product pricing including set up of underlying assumptions for existing products as well as those new to the market. Works closely with other team members and regional counterparts.
• Performs profit-testing and various sensitivity analyses (both regular and ad-hock)
• Reviews product profitability and assists colleagues in decision taking for product development, re-pricing, product features, etc.
• Supports assumption studies and approval process.
• Participates in New business profitability analysis

• Supports the preparation of product documentation from technical/actuarial perspective.
• Participates in Illustrations preparation and implementation of products in local systems.
• Participates in preparation and updates of regulatory documents needing actuarial input, nemely Key Information Document (KID) under PRIIPS regulation and Total Cost Indicator.

• University degree preferably in Actuarial Science but can be in Mathematics or Informatics.
• Relevant job experience (Life insurance actuary, Pricing or similar).
• Fluent in English;
• Advanced MF office & VBA
• Result oriented;
• Resilient, works well under pressure and with various sources of information;
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to identify weak areas through reporting;
• Team player with ability to work also independently.
